This class is all about empowering you with the skills and knowledge to make nourishing, delicious and digestible gluten-free sourdough and other gluten-free breads and baked goods.

In this class you will learn how to start and care for your very own gluten-free sourdough culture, as well as how to make a loaf of gorgeous gluten-free sourdough bread. We will explore a range of hearty plant-based meals that will satisfy. We will look at ways to gain the most nutrients from your plant based foods while preparing them in beautiful and delicious ways. We will learn to lean a little more on some simple pantry items to make gorgeous family meals.

Gluten Free Baking – Beautiful Pastries Made From Scratch (using real wholefood ingredients)

Join us for a truly delicious and nourishing class where you will learn the fundamentals of baking with gluten free wholefood flours and less-refined sweeteners.

This class is for anyone wishing to gain an understanding of how gluten free flours work, how to blend them for the best results (flavour & texture), and how to avoid using less wholesome refined alternatives.

We will make a range of sweet and savoury pastries including the ultimate gluten free sausage rolls (this is one for the lunchbox!!), tarts, bars and cookies.

Recipes Include:

  • The ultimate GF sausage rolls
  • Rustic vegetable tart
  • Sweet shortcrust tarts; Including Little Labne tarts with Poached Seasonal Fruits
  • Luscious Lemon Bars
  • Coconut Macaroons
  • Teff flour Snickerdoodles

All participants will receive a recipe manual which includes a guide to Gluten Free & Grain Free Flours and the recipes made on the day. There will also be morning tea, a light lunch and plenty to chat about.

  • Basic muffin recipe (build your own muffins)

  • A gorgeous caramel upside down cake with seasonal fruit
  • Teff & honey (no-fry) cinnamon donuts

superfoods from scratch – home-made fridge & pantry essentials

Learn fundamental recipes that are delicious and nourishing to keep on hand in your fridge and pantry.

Many of the processed foods that are sold at the supermarket are rife with preservatives, flavourings, thickeners, flavour enhancers, sugars, GMO’s, dodgy oils and many other industrial, non-body compatible inputs. In this class you will learn the importance and ease of making these foods from scratch, so that you can have your own delicious and nourishing versions which are made with healthy wholefoods, including traditional fats, vinegars, unrefined sweeteners and more.

We will make bone broth, dressings, sauces, dips and even a breakfast cereal – all of which will use ingredients that you can access locally. All class participants will be able to taste delights made on the day and will receive a recipe book with detailed instructions.

wholefood breakfasts for busy people – delicious, nutritious and sustaining breakfasts for the whole family

This is the class for those who are seeking an alternative to the dodgy status quo of boxed cereals and white bread. It is designed to give you a greater understanding of wholefoods, how to make delicious meals with them and include more of them in your diet through menu planning, stocking your wholefoods pantry and using nutrient dense recipes and techniques.

In this class you will learn the fundamentals for a nutritious breakfast on the go (the WHYS) and you will learn many fabulous recipes designed to suit a broad range of tastes and preferences (the HOWS) for the whole family to be sustained and nourished.

Recipes used feature healthy fats and proteins, some whole grains and beautiful produce. All methods will be clearly demonstrated and you’ll get to taste everything that is made. All students will also be provided with a recipe file from the class.

If eating well is on your mind, but you don’t know where to begin, then this is the class for you. Wholefood cooking for busy people includes a comprehensive discussion on the fundamentals required for stocking a wholefoods pantry – and some gorgeous recipes to utilise them in a snap – to make delicious and nutrient dense meals for the family.

This class is designed to give you a greater understanding of wholefood ingredients, how to include more of them in your diet through menu planning, stocking your wholefoods pantry and nutrient dense recipes for meals and core basics to have on hand during the busy times.

Recipes and techniques include: Understanding how to soak and prepare grains, how to make ghee, bone broth, honey cashew chicken, Korean beef, chunky lentil soup, date and pecan bon-bons, coconut fudge and more. Students will go home with a full mind and happy belly, ready to take on a busy week with some great tools.
